Zac Glowa Movement, sleep, stress management (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual), nutrition, and exercise are all key components to our overall health and well-being. I believe if you spend the time and energy balancing all these components the best you possibly can, then your life will be enhanced greatly. The “small wins” on this journey of life are more important than making it to the finish line as fast as possible. If you are willing to listen and put in the work when life knocks you down, you will be surprised in where your journey can take you. “Just Keep Going”! I have worked with clients from 5-year-olds, up to 80+ years young individuals. From professional athletes to people trying to get out of wheelchairs to learn how to walk again. I have had the fortunate opportunity to work in a gym setting for over 18 years, to a clinical setting for 10 years helping people through life’s struggles, trials, and tribulations. From the individual who is getting ready for a shoulder surgery, to a person who just had a knee or hip replacement. A client who is trying to find the step-by step process in getting over a specific injury, to an individual who is battling cancer. I like to coach how quality of movement (technique and form) is more important than quantity of movement (repetitions and sets), especially when dealing with injuries that produce a lot of pain. Tidbits on me: I grew up playing all sports but fell in love with basketball the most. I was an adrenaline junky and loved to push the limit with my body, mind, and soul. I have been through a lot of serious health problems and injuries that have caused me to take a step back a bit. After pushing the envelope so hard in my early years and battling chronic pain for over 20+ years of my life, I was forced to change my outlook on life a bit. I still love to be active and do what I love to do but in a more efficient way. Active rest, proper sleep, and recovery has been a staple in my life going forward. I like to deal with all individuals. I especially have a soft spot for the people coping with chronic pain, injury, and pre/post-surgery. I love to show these individuals the step-by-step guidance in getting back to functioning properly and reaching their true potential. Education: B.Sc.
